These terms cover the text messaging program operated by Solcrest Film Co LLC, a window film installation company based in Los Angeles, California, and the use of solcrestfilm.com.

The SMS program

Solcrest Film Co LLC operates a text messaging program for customers and prospective customers who ask us for an estimate or contact us about window film work. You join the program only by ticking one of the consent checkboxes on our opt-in form, or by asking us directly to text you. The checkboxes are separate, optional and unchecked by default, and no message is sent to anyone who has not opted in.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

You can request an estimate, book work and have it completed without ever agreeing to receive a text message. Declining costs you nothing and changes nothing about the service you receive.

Supported message types

Two separate consents cover two separate kinds of message.

Informational messages, if you opt in, may include:

Replies to an estimate request and follow-up questions about your project.
Estimates and quote updates.
Appointment scheduling, confirmations and changes.
Installation updates, including arrival windows and completion notices.
Reminders ahead of a scheduled visit.
Service follow-ups and aftercare instructions.

Promotional messages, if you opt in separately, may include:

Special offers and seasonal promotions.
Occasional news about services we have added.

Opting in to informational messages does not opt you in to promotional messages. You may consent to one, both or neither.

Message frequency, rates, and opting out

Message frequency varies. Messages are sent in response to your request and to the stage your project has reached, so the number depends on the work rather than a fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your mobile plan and your carrier, not on us. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Reply STOP to opt out. You can send STOP to any message at any time and you will be unsubscribed. We will send one confirmation message and then stop.
Reply HELP for help. Sending HELP returns our contact details, or you can reach us directly using the support details below.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.

Estimates and work

Estimates are based on the photos, measurements and details you provide and are confirmed once we have seen the glass. Scope, price and schedule are agreed in writing before work begins. Film performance depends on the product selected, the glass, the building and the conditions on site, and any figures we quote come from the manufacturer of the film rather than from us.
